Contact manifolds have the two fundamental associated structures, that is, Riemannian metrics and almost CR-structures. In this talk, we concentrate on contact manifolds from the latter viewpoint. First, we give a classification of spherical CR-symmetric contact spaces of dimension >3, which are realized as real hypersurfaces in Hermitian symmetric spaces. Next, we classify CR-symmetric contact 3-manifolds.
