We prove \(\Omega\)-estimates for \(L\)-functions from the Selberg class under assumption of the corresponding analogue of the Riemann hypothesis. The method of proof combines Montgomery's approach with an effective version of Kronecker's diophantine approximation theorem due to Weber.
